King Khalid University is hosting the First Saudi Conference on Environment on its main campus in Abha city, Aseer region – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from 7th to 9th of March, 2016 (27- 29/5/1437 Hijri).

The conference focuses on sustainable management, efficient use and conservation of natural resources through the following themes: natural resources, global warming and climate change, biodiversity, environmental pollution and remedies and management of environmental hazards.

The objectives of king Khalid University from the conference are enrichment of cooperation among environmentalists, drawing of national attention to environmental issues, application of sustainability concepts, and recognition of national, regional and international environmental problems and the recent technological mitigation and adaption methods .
